Scope of supply
Complete construction of a building with a light steel structure, precast and cast-in-place reinforced concrete, up to and including the occupancy permit. Procurement and installation of process equipment; mechanical, electrical and control installation of the process systems, together with complete construction, painting and insulation of the auxiliary systems.
The scope of supply also included the installation drawings for the mechanical, electrical and control disciplines. Our work ran from taking over the levelled site to the occupancy permit and the commissioning and balancing of the operating systems.
About the facility:
The energy needed to run the Mercedes-Benz car plant in Kecskemét is produced in the building called HKS, the energy centre. This building produces heating, cooling, electricity and compressed air at two pressure levels. In the front section of the centre we also built offices, staff facilities and a workshop. For safe and continuous operation, the building also has a diesel emergency generator and a fire suppression system.
