About the equipment:
On the 230 MWe gas turbine Unit G2 at Dunamenti Erőmű, a component was installed between the gas turbine and the heat recovery boiler that acts as a switch in the flue gas system, directing the flue gas either to the heat recovery boiler or straight to atmosphere through the stack. This component, the diverter, sits at the base of the bypass stack. The operating temperature in this part of the flue gas system is between 400 and 500 °C.
