Construction of a combined heat and power plant supplying heat to the Kazincbarcika district heating system, as a greenfield project.
Our company's task was the turnkey delivery of the facility, including design, supply of all main and auxiliary equipment, architectural, mechanical, electrical power and control construction, and commissioning of the plant.
Investor: Sinergy Kft.
About the facility:
With three Wärtsilä gas engines of 3.4 MW thermal output each and three Alstom boilers of 16 MW thermal output each, the plant has a rated heat output of 58.2 MW; with engines of 3.2 MW electrical output each, it has a total rated electrical output of 9.6 MW. The heat produced is used to heat the circulating water in the district heating network.
