Vértesi Erőmű, Oroszlány — biomass feeding system

Feeding wood chips and energy reed at a defined rate under the boiler's various operating conditions.

Feeding wood chips and energy reed at a defined rate under the boiler's various operating conditions.

The scope of supply ran from conveyor belts 5/a and 5/b on the power plant's main coal conveying route (converting the discharge chute into a chute with a diverter flap) to the four feed nozzles in the side wall of the boiler. The system includes a new silo-filling, fixed-speed rubber belt conveyor; a day silo with a usable volume of 300 m3, fitted with a rotary spreader and a discharge screw; two chain scraper conveyors with variable frequency drives; and a constant-speed weigh belt conveyor with an electronic belt scale, verified by the OMH.

Our company's task was the complete architectural, mechanical, control and electrical power construction.
